Karen Berg (born Karen Mulnick, October 12, 1942) co-founded the Kabbalah Centre and served as its primary marketing architect. She pivoted the organization from the insular Orthodox community to secular gentiles, women, and the Hollywood elite, democratizing Kabbalah (traditionally reserved for married Jewish men over 40). She authored 'God Wears Lipstick: Kabbalah for Women' and founded Spirituality for Kids, Kids Creating Peace, and the Kabbalah Centre Charitable Foundation. She assumed the CEO role after Philip's 2004 stroke and remained matriarch until her death on July 30, 2020.
